Laura Molitor
We welcome Laura Molitor as our Associate Director! Laura is the assistant baritone section leader, and has been a great asset in the chorus since she joined.
Laura was introduced to the Sweet Adeline world in 2001 when her mother joined the Kansas City Chorus. She has a rich history in music, but formally became a Sweet Adeline in 2021.
Laura began taking piano lessons at a very young age and gradually added musical instruments throughout the years. She performed in musicals and sang in many different choirs through both her church and schools. She received a degree in music education through Concordia University Chicago in 2014 and has been teaching music ever since. She has taught band, choir, musical theater, early childhood music, and piano lessons. She is also a church organist and assists her church’s brass group on special holidays by playing the trumpet.
Laura is currently teaching early childhood music at two local schools where her daughters attend. She loves to see the joy music brings to the youngest generation and hopes to foster their love of all the arts. In her spare time, Laura enjoys sewing, crocheting, reading, and spending time with her family. She has a wonderful husband, Kyle, and two beautiful girls.
