As the summer heat begins to fade, we're ramping up the excitement for our Holiday Show! Save the date for Saturday, November 23, and come join us at the Heights Church on W20th Street in Houston for a delightful Holiday Concert and Market. With two performance times available, there's a perfect option for everyone!

In July, we hosted our 5th Tuesday of July mini-concert. That’s the last mini-concert for the year, but not the last 5th Tuesday for 2024. We’re looking forward to the 29th of October where we’ll be hosting a Guest Night! We'll have an array of exciting activities planned, and this is a fantastic chance to experience the camaraderie and joy that comes from being part of Houston Horizon. For any prospective members that would like to dual with us and come to International in Ohio in 2025, come along for a fun night of harmony! (And for those prospective members that will be in Kansas City - don’t worry, we’ll have another in early 2025!).
On the second Tuesday of every month, following our rehearsals, you'll find some of our night owls unwinding at the nearby Kirby Ice House. This new tradition is a delightful way to incorporate socializing into the evening and foster connections beyond our rehearsal time. Beyond the music and merriment, these gatherings serve as a reminder of the community we've built—one that supports and uplifts each other both on and off the stage.
We are thrilled to introduce our new member from Atlanta, Andrea, and to have our beloved Sophie Lee return after her parental leave. It has been a joy to have baby Joseph attend some of our rehearsals. His charming presence, often cooing in harmony with our tunes, brings smiles to everyone's faces. It's truly heartwarming to witness such a young spirit already captivated by the magic of music.

We welcomed back our three dual members with Space City Sound from Cleveland, OH, and we wish our four dual members with The Woodlands Show Chorus: Becky Hill, Karla Fenton, Marilyn Rumsey and Patricia Gibbons all the best in Kansas City, MO, at the 2024 Sweet Adelines International Convention!
